As your employer, Co-Employer or a company providing outsourced HR services to your employer, C2 Essentials, Inc., is committed to the proper handling of the Personal Information you have shared as part of your employment relationship. This California Employee Privacy Notice ("Notice") is intended to provide California Persons with the required CCPA notice.

Pursuant to the CCPA: We are required to provide California Residents who are employees or applicants for employment with a description of our practices regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and sale of the Personal Information we collect and your rights regarding the information. For the purposes of this notice only, the terms "C2," "we," or "us" also refer to your co-employer or employing company.

As part of your employment relationship: We collect, receive, maintain, and share with various service providers elements of Personal Information.

“Personal Information” has the meaning as defined in the CCPA: It includes any information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with you, or information that could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with you. It does not include publicly available information, deidentified or aggregated consumer information, or personal information covered by certain sector-specific privacy laws.

Category A: Identifiers, including name, contact information, online identifiers, social security number, driver’s license number, passport number, or other similar government-issued identifiers.

Use of Personal Information: C2 uses Personal Information for HR functions such as recruiting, hiring, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, payroll, tax reporting, and legal compliance.

Disclosure of Personal Information: C2 may disclose your information to third-party service providers as necessary for HR functions, but does not sell any Personal Information. C2 retains this information as long as it maintains a personnel file on you.
